Reiki Energy Work
Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) means Universal life Energy. It is an ancient healing technique for
transferring energy from one person to another in order to bring about healing. If our life force
energy is very low or depleted we may become ill.
Reiki vitalizes your life force and balances your energies. It simultaneously treats the spiritual
and mental causes of an illness not just the symptoms.
It can be used to increase your energy, strengthen the immune system and to prevent disease. It can
help in the healing of many ailments from acute and chronic disorders, emotional traumas, depression
and stress.
Treatment is preformed by a practitioner who has been trained and attuned in order to open the
channels that allow the energy to flow through to wherever it is most needed in the client. The
healing energy flows through the hands of the practitioner. It is done with a very light touch over
a fully clothed body. The client simply relaxes on the massage table during the session absorbing
the energy moving through their body.
As Reiki supports medical and natural healing techniques it can be used at any time without interfering with any treatments you are currently undergoing. Reiki is suitable for people of all ages and levels of health.
